Heard a GM rolling through Menangle station last week and look what it was X53 in Aurizon livery .I don't know anything about the movement ,why it was light. But a nice pic of it .

I bought a 2 pack of Trainorama MRCs and have photographed the two together for comparison.

2 hours near Hexham

While my wife was getting her hair done by her hairdresser in Hamilton ,Newcastle I thought id spend that time craming as much time driving around Newcastle .The last time I was photographing trains at Hexham we were getting a steam loco ready to be moved to Rhondda Colliery back in 1973 , I was a junior member of HVSM 40 years ago!!
First I went to UGL
then to Port Waratah
then to the coal roads at Hexham

Soldered the parts onto the 'C' channel and then glued them onto the chassis ,now starting to take shape.
